How to make Grass Head People

I made these before when my older children were little and they love watching them grow. 

While we were planting some seeds Liam asked if he could plant some too of his very own.  Being so young he won’t have the patience to wait 14-21 days for his seeds to sprout. So I asked him if he wanted to make a grass head person.

Normally I would use a stocking for his head but we don’t wear stocking anymore so we used some plastic bottles.

You will need:

Plastic bottle

Potting mix

Fast growing seeds

Grass Head People Instructions:

First We cut our plastic bottle ⅔ of the way down  and then poked a few holes in the bottom so the water will drain out.

Next we filled the bottle with potting mix.

Sprinkle the seeds over the top and lightly cover in more potting mix. Lightly water. We used alphalfa sprouts so we can use them in our sandwich.

Keep them lightly watered and watch them grow 

The packet says about 5 days
